ALBERT L. ALLEN, 70, of Eads, retired from Yellow Freight System, died of lung disease Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at noon Wednesday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 67 and Wells Station Baptist Church, and was a World War II veteran.

Mr. Allen, the husband of Beverly Joann Allen also leaves a daughter, Sherry Allen Murdock of Memphis; two sons, Bobby D. Allen of Memphis and John A. 'Bubba' Allen of Seattle; a sister, Oklys Lambert of Mobile, Ala.; a brother, James Clyde Allen of Huntsville, Ala., and two grandchildren.

The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Lung Association.
