Richard William Cambridge 81, of Kerrville, AZ, formerly of Iowa City, died Friday, Jan 28, 2000.

Mr. Cambridge was born Aug 12, 1918, in Iowa City, IA, to William and Anna Cambridge. He attended the University of Iowa, where he earned three degrees and played in the marching and concert bands. He taught at Eastern Illinois University and Northern Illinois University and was a lieutenant in the US Navy during World War II. He played trumpet in dance bands and multiple community, concert, and Dixieland bands and orchestras.

He was a resident of Iowa City, Charleston and DeKalb IL, a summer resident of Empire MI and retired in Lake Havasu AZ and Kerrville TX. He married Adelaide Sears on May 15, 1943, in Key West FL. She died Aug 5, 1994. He married Teresa Reynolds on May 25, 1995, in Tucson AZ.
