George & wife, Nora lived in Blair, NE after they married. They moved to Denver, CO where George was a barber. They moved to the homestead west of Hiawatha sometime in the early years of the 20th century. After living in Kansas during the depression, they retired to Colorado Springs, CO. where their two sons, Frank and Harvey lived. George was assisting with the relief efforts during the flook of 1935, when he caught pneumonia. He died from it shortly thereafter.
They had seven children--Harvey, twins Ella & Etta, Frank, Edna, Milton and Fern.
