Frances M. Grawey, age 82, a resident of Marinette, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 27, 1999 at Bay Area Medical Center. Francis was born August 28, 1916 in Porterfield. She attended the former Dickie School and the Stephenson Training School. She worked as a cook at the former Olsen Restaurant and for Arlans Department Store in Milwaukee and Detroit. She also worked at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Holy Family Church, Marinette, the Golden Agers, the Homemakers, former St. Anthony's Altar Society, the Historical Society and was a 4H Leader. Survivors include .... She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Friends my call after 4 pm on Tuesday at Thielen Funeral Home, Marinette. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church, Carney St. on Wednesday at 12 Noon. Father Lawrence Marto will officiate. Burial will beat St. Joseph Cemetery, Walsh.
