Liberty Township Resident Passes Away in Faulkton Last Tues. Morning


Funeral services for Ernest G. Shore, Loyalton were held Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Loyalton with the Rev. W.J. Leyh officiating.
Mr Shore died Tuesday at the Faulk county Memorial Hospital. Burial was in the Ipswich Cemetery.
He was born January 26, 1891, in Iowa and was married to Mary Aldrich at Homer, Nebraska, on Feb. 17, 1913. In 1917 they moved to South Dakota and later to Minnesota. In 1943 they returned to South Dakota and resided on a farm in Liberty Township, Edmunds County.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ruby of Loyalton, and Mrs. Wesley (Dorothy) Cusey of Sebeka, Minn.; six grandchildren; three sisters, Veda Shore, Yakima, Wash.; ora Tywood, Thurston, Nebraska; and Edna Weeks, Blanchard, Oklahoma; one brother, Ora of Selah, Wash.
He was prededed in death by a daughter and one sister.
Sorum Funeral Home of Faulkton was in charge of the arrangements.
