Rovigne I. Bracken, 94, of Cates and Covington died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at the American Senior Communities Nursing Home in Williamsport, Indiana.
She was born Jan. 20, 1917 in Tangier to Thurman and Elizabeth Jane (Jennie) Dotson Holland. She married Guy G. Bracken. He died in 1967. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, William G. (Billy) Bracken; five brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Wayne ( Marilyn) Bracken, of Covington; two daughters, Joyce Williams of Covington and Guyann (Patrick) Bracken-Fay, of Brandon, Florida; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard of Colorado Springs, Colorado and many nieces and nephews.
