Darby - Mrs Hester F Shook, 80, of 133 Mansfield Ave., Landsdowne, Pa., died Sunday morning in the Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital, Darby.
Mrs Shook, formerly of Stroudsburg, was the daughter of the late Peter R and Martha J Slutter Learn, and the widow of the late Joseph S Shook.
A Roman Catholic, she is survived by a son, Melvin, of Landsdowne; and a sister, Mrs Edith Heller, of Stroudsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 9am Wednesday at the Dunkelberger and Klofach Funeral Home, Stroudsburg, followed by a Requiem Mass at 9:30am
in St Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Stroudsburg, with Rev. Francis Barrett officiating.
Burial will be in the Custard Cemetery, Bartonsville.
Friends may call after 7pm Tuesday at the Dunkelberger and Klofach Funeral Home.
