Born in Pittsfield, daughter of Bernard C. and Augusta Heidel, she lived here all her life. She was educated in the local public schools. Mrs. Jones was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church and a 50-year member of the Collina chapter, OES.
She was the wife of Walter E. Jones Sr., who died many years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. King H. Chittenden of Waltham; two sons, Wesley E. Jones of Rome, GA, and Walter E. Jones Jr. of Pittsfield, with whom she made her home; a sister, Mrs. Flora M. Tabor of Pittsfield, eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Zoph Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.
