Mr. Abell was a member of Mount Zion Full Gospel Church, a retiree of the Bullitt County Board of Education and an Air Force veteran. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Anna Abell; daughters, Janet McPherson (Tim) and Glenda Booth (Mike); son, Doug Abell (Karen); sister, Clara Desurne; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
