Thomas Henry Wimberg, at the age of 63 died Aug. 6, 2010 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ. He resided at Beesley's Point at the time of his death. He was born in Atlantic City, the son of Chester J. and Elaine Keiser Wimberg. He was employed by the City of Ocean City as a heavy equipment operator. He served honorably in the U.S. Army, 82nd 101st Paratrooper during Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW and the Beach Buggy Association, both of Ocean City. He was also a former Ocean City police officer.
He was predeceased by his wife, Muriel (Lovette).
Survivors include his son, his mother, a brother, a sister, Susan Wimberg; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 9 at the Church of the Resurrection in Marmora. Burial with Military Honors followed at Seaside Cemetery in Marmora.
