Mrs V. A. Lee, 91, former Oklahoma City resident, died early Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs R. C. Parker, Norman, with whom she had made her home five years. Mrs Lee made the run into Oklahoma in 1889, staked a claim 13 miles east of Oklahoma City and lived there 20 years. She then lived at US 62 and Western 29 years.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 pm Friday in the Jansing-Primrose Funeral chapel, Norman. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery here. In addition to her daughter, Mrs Parker is survived by a son, Ira A. Lee, Blythe, CA; six other daughters, Mrs P. E. Blake, Santa Cruz, CA; Mrs Clara Putty, Wichita Falls, TX; Mrs Laura Hammond, Santa Monica, CA; Mrs Elsie Raymond, Van Nuys, CA; Mrs Lillian McCall, Norman; and Miss Stella Lee, Preston, Cuba.
