Adam Daniel Jarnagin, 24, died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Adam was born May 27, 1987 in Des Moines and raised by his parents, Gary and Kris Jarnagin.
Adam attended Lincoln High School through 11th grade and graduated from Panorama High School in 2005. Adam attended Job Corps in Excelsior Springs, Missouri after high school and then served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps until his honorable discharge in March of this year. Adam was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, and completed three deployments, including one to Afghanistan. He was currently a Corporal in the Reserves of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Adam worked at Countertops by Willett, side by side with his dad. He enjoyed time with his family, hanging out with friends, and had a great passion for fishing and the outdoors.
Adam is survived by his parents, Gary and Kris Jarnagin of Panora; brothers, Aaron and Isaac Jarnagin of Panora; paternal grandparents, Earl and Frances Jarnagin of Panora; maternal grandparents, Darrell and Merna Johnson of Ackley; great-grandmother, Lucy Roche of Quincy, Massachusetts; sister, Amanda Miller of Phoenix; several uncles, aunts, and cousins; and many beloved friends.

Adam was employed at Countertops by Willet, in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, sailing, skiing, kayaking and riding his Harley Davidson. He loved being at his grandparents farm, spending time with family and his many friends.
Adam is survived by his mother Suzi (Mike) Miller; father Gary (Kris) Jarnagin; sister Amanda (Nick) Miller-Richmond; brothers Aaron and Issac Jarnagin; grandparents Kenny and Elaine Johnston, Darrell and Merna Johnson, Earl and Frances Jarnagin; great-grandmothers Lavon Hudson and Lucy Roche; girlfriend Meg Ozbun; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and relatives.
Adam was laid to rest August 31, 2011 at West Cemetery in Panora, Iowa

Adam had a short and sometimes bumpy ride through life; like lots of kids he suffered the effects of divorced parents and separation from his mother and sister Amanda Miller. Adam lived and died just as his mother had taught him, full speed ahead, no regrets!
Adam is survived by his mother, Suzi Miller (Ret. PCSO Deputy) her husband Michael of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Amanda Miller. Aunts and Uncles from his mother's side: Larry, Monte and Dennis; Nichole and Danelle Johnston, Heather, Holly and Lee Lee West, Lesley Boyd, tons of cousins and three half sisters: Sunny, Savannah and Matti. Grandparents and Great-grandparents: Kenneth and Elaine Johnston, Lavon Hudson. Special Note: Darrell and Merna Johnson of Ackley whom Adam loved and respected very much.
