Shirley Foreman, 75, of Gladwin, passed away Oct. 4, 2010 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin. She was born March 6, 1935 to Elry and Catherine (McFarlane) Farison.

Shirley was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and she enjoyed meeting with friends for a.m. and p.m. coffee fellowship. She also enjoyed visiting her many close friends and neighbors. She will be remembered by all whose lives she has touched and dearly missed by all who knew her.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Gary) Hale; her son, Randy (Dawn) Foreman; Grandchildren, Shannon Bowers, Tony Hale and Aaron Hale; 5 great grandchildren; her three siblings, Leah Ruth Nimphie, Alta Henrick and Ione Grady. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, of 42 years; sisters, Ellen Ropp and Marjorie Stone; brothers, Douglas, David and Kenneth Farison; and stepbrothers, James and Robert Berthume.

In accordance with Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin.
