He was a graduate of Fort Gibson High School and had been in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years; he was promoted to Staff Sergeant upon his death, served in the 393 Bomb Squadron and reassigned to the 509 AMSX, and worked on the B-2 Stealth Bomber. He was deployed to a forward operating location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lamont, MO.
Kent married his high school sweetheart, Alyssa Huitt, in Oct. 1999; no children.
