Willard was also preceded in death by
four brothers, Clifford, Charles, Arry Cleveland and Hershel Carico;
two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Carico Wiley and Verna Carico Crockett.
Survivors include
a son and his wife, Arthur and Sharon Carico of Lutz, FL; two grandchildren, Kimberley and her husband William Lanius, and Michael Carico, all of FL;
one sister, Margaret Carico Burner;
a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Willard retired from the C&O Railroad in 1978 with 42 years of dedicated service and also served in the US Navy as a welder during WWII. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he held many callings within the church. Willard was the first seventy to be ordained in the Huntington Stake Center and he and his wife served as missionaries at the Washington, DC, Temple.
