Kerley Elmer Willoughby 72, of 1506 US Hwy 17-13 South, died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at his home in Windsor, North Carolina.

He was born in Bladen County. Kerley was retired from Barnhill Construction Company.

Mr. Willoughby was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Babson Willoughby; his parents, Joe Willoughby and Chellie Evers-Willoughby; two sisters, Rosa Lee and Lillie Mae Willoughby; and a brother, Paul Willoughby.

Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Dilley, Rosa Anders, both of Windsor, Karen Modlin of Pinehurst; 2 sons, Mike Owens of Cary and Kerley Joe Willoughby of Windsor; three sisters, Lois Sealey of Bladenboro, Margie Boudreaux of Biloxi, MS, Elease Hodge of Lumberton; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Walker Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J.N. Baggett. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
