Erma C. Taylor, 100, of Kansas City, Kansas, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at Tonganoxie Nursing Center. Visitation will be 10 a.m., and Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, September 1, at the Highland Park Funeral Home & Crematory, 41st & State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas; burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Mrs. Taylor was born November 26, 1910 in Poplar Buff, Missouri, to Elbert and Minerva Elizabeth Eye. She is survived by her son, Thomas E. Taylor, and his wife, Ruth, and her daughter, Phyllis E. Meyer, and her husband, Ken, as well as 4 grandchildren, many great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, William Taylor, a daughter, Marion, and a son, Bill, and 2 grandchildren, Lesa and Danny.
