The death of Adolph Viertel of the town of Alban, which occurred at the Waupaca County Asylum, is announced.

In November 1905, Mr Viertel was committed to the Northern Asylum, his mental condition being the result of a severe injury he received to his head when assisting in the operation of a stump pulling machine and from which he never recovered.

He was in the forty-seventh year of his age at the time of his death and is survived by his wife and three sons and three daughters, all of whom live in the town of Alban. Mrs Viertel and Mrs Mary Houck and Mrs Mike Neumann of this city are sisters.
