Hattie Elizabeth Patton Malaby was the daughter of William M. Patton (Dollarhide Cemetery in Foreman, AR) and Mary "Polly" Elizabeth Adams Patton (Dollarhide Cemetery in Foreman, AR). She and her family, the Pattons, moved to New Boston, Bowie County, Texas from Kentucky in 1888. She moved to Foreman, AR after her marriage to John Malaby, and in about 1919 to Texarkana, TX with the Malaby family. She was the mother of Norman Jewell, Johnny B., Raymond Claude, and Alice Juanita. She and John had three other children. Two died as infants, and one, Florence, died at the age of about three years. She was a homemaker and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Texarkana.
