Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Allen Braly, 89, lifelong resident of Giles County, were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Bennett-May Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Chester A. Stephens, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church. Burial took place in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Braly died on Thursday afternoon, February 9, at her home one mile west of Pulaski, following a long period of declining health.
Born January 27, 1872, she was the daughter of the late Porter Allen and Margaret Anderson Allen. The last member of her immediate family, she was the widow of Reed Braly who died in 1952. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
Mrs. Braly is survived by one son, Louis Braly; one grandson, Billy Braly, Birmingham, Ala.; and one great-granddaughter, Miss Patricia Ann Braly, Pulaski.
