EAST END MAN FOUND DEAD NEAR GAS TANK
Harry N. Long, aged 61, of 218 East Sixth avenue was found dead at 9 o'clock yesterday morning alongside the Peoples Natural Gas company storage tank near Bellwood avenue and Lloyd street. He had last been seen alive walking east on Seventh avenue below Fourth street at 11 o'clock Saturday night. Coroner Chester C. Rothrock and city police officers investigated the case. Coroner Rothrock attributing the man's death to heart disease. Death had occurred apparently ten hours before the body was found. Harry N. Long was born in Frankstown on Aug. 9, 1874, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Long. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret (Brown) Long, two sons, Howard* at home, and Clarence of Johnstown; three brothers and one sister, Irwin Long of Berwind-White, William of the city, Albert of Frankstown and Mrs. Edward Bishop of the city. Mr. Long was of the United Brethren faith. Funeral services for Harry N. Long of 218 East Sixth avenue will be held at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home where the body may be viewed. Interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery at Hollidaysburg.
