Cordelia Bell Brown was the daughter of Joseph Brown and Bonnie Mae Kilgore. She married Thomas Edgar Biggs on 8 Jan 1917 in Akins, Oklahoma. The groom's father, Alfred Alexander Biggs, Jr., was an ordained Baptist minister and he married them during an evening service held in the home of Willam Ervin Biggs, Alfred's oldest son.

Cordelia was a witty and fun-loving person who would help anyone in need. She was half-Cherokee and was very proud of her Native American heritage.
