Jan. 27, 1964 - Mrs. Lee, 86, Area Native, Dies In N.J. - Mrs. Emma J. Lee, 86, died Saturday after a short illness at Shepherds Home in Haddenfield, N.J., where she had been a resident for several years. born in Troy, Mrs. Lee had lived the greater part of her life in Boyontonville. She was a member and past Commander of the Shepherds of Bethlehem of Troy and belonged to the Methodist Church of Boyntonville. She was the wife of the late James T. Lee. Mrs. Lee is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Vedder of Watervliet; a son, Merrill T. Lee of Center Brunswick, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Howard B. Tate and Son Funeral Home in Raymertown and at 2 p.m. from the Boyntonville Methodist Church, Rev. Albert E. Stanley, pastor officiating.
Funeral of Mrs. Lee - The funeral of Mrs. Emma Lee was held this afternoon from the Boyntonville Methodist Church with Rev. Albert E. Stanley, pastor, officiating. Bearers were Arthur Bouleris, Warren Kelley, Robert Alger, Earl Finkel, Harold Hems and Donald Pitcher. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Troy, whre Mr. Stanley officiated at the grave.
