Mrs. Abbie Norton, 67, will be buried in west
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon in San Jose, Cal., for the late Mrs. Abbie K. Norton, 67, former Battle Creek resident, who died at her home there Saturday night. Mrs. Norton was the widow of the late David A. Norton and the mother of Chester A. Norton, of 109 West Van Buren Street. Mr. Norton left Sunday for California to attend the funeral.
Born April 2, 1872, in Birkshire, Vt., Mrs. Norton was the daughter of H.W. and Annette Kellogg, the family coming here when she was five years old. Her father was for many years associated with the Duplex Printing Press company.
Mrs. Norton had made her home in California since 1915. Besides her son here she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Annette Neuroth, of San Jose; a brother Carl Austin Kellogg of the city; five grandchildren, Chester Norton, Jr., and Mrs. Alice Jensen, of this city; Fred and Ruth Neuroth, of San Jose, and David Ashley Barnes of Palo Alto, Cal., and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Norton will be buried beside her parents in the cemetery at Mountain view, Cal.
