Paulette Luksik, 53, Mahnomen, died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.

Paulette Kay Loken was born July 15, 1943, the daughter of Paul and Catherine (Fredrickson) Loken, in Albert Lea, Minn. She attended school in Glenville, New Richland and Albert Lea, Minn. She worked at Interstate Power, Albert Lea.

She married Norman Luksik Feb. 19, 1966, in Albert Lea. They farmed in Freeborn County, Minn., from 1967 until 1970, when they moved to a farm near Blooming Prairie, Minn. They farmed there until 1977, when they purchased their present farm in Beaulieu Township, Mahnomen County.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Joey, Moorhead, Michael, Grand Forks, and Jason, Mahnomen; a daughter, Pamela (Randy) Hovde, Glyndon, Minn.; three grandchildren; her mother, Albert Lea; and brothers, Steve, Missoula, Mont., and Terry, in Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday in First Lutheran Church, Mahnomen.

Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, in Mattson Funeral Home, Mahnomen, and one hour before services in the church.

Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Walker, Minn.
