Charles Driver was born in England. He was about 8 1/2 years old when his father died and he was apprenticed to his uncle to work in the grocery business in London. He emigrated to US in 1857. He went to the pineries in Wisconsin, to Chicago, in 1860 to New Orleans, to New York City, to Kingston NY, to Sycamore, Illinois; to Stansbury, Missouri, and 1896 to Omaha, Nebraska. Died at his daughter Mae (Mrs. Alvin F) Booth's home between Shenandoah and Farragut.
