He formerly owned Meyers Liquid Fertilizer Company, Mr. Airy, Md., before moving to Florida, was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Verda (Smith) Meyers; two brothers, Olen Meyers, Grantsville, Md., and Herman Meyers, Mt. Airy, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Audrey Faidley, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Edith Bowers, Boynton and Mrs. Dorothy Ryman, of Michigan.
Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home. A service was conducted at Zion Lutheran Church, Jennings, Monday. Rev. James Mitchell officiated and interment was in Grantsville Cemetery. The body was taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
