Wilbur ‘Ralph' Shuck

Wilbur "Ralph" Shuck, 83, Tipton, died at 6:38 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at IU Tipton Hospital. He was born March 23, 1928, in Prairie Township, Tipton County, to Marvin "Ted" and Ora Pauline (Reese) Shuck. He married Phyllis Shuck (Warner) on July 22, 1975, in Frankfort.
He attended Kempton Schools and retired from Indiana Bell. He was a lifelong farmer of Tipton County. He was a supporter of Liberty Baptist Church and was a member of Moose Lodge 7 in Frankfort.
He is survived by his spouse; one son, Richard Shuck, Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Biswell, Clark, Mo.; one stepson, Mike (Nancy) Cline, Kirklin; one stepdaughter, Melanie Goens, Fishers; four grandchildren, Ashley Biswell, Bandon Shuck, Amber Lacey and Coty Shuck; seven step-grandchildren, Brad (Shawna) Cline, Forest, David (Kyly) Cline, Lewisville, Kyle (Kristina) Cline, Westfield, Jonathan (Megan) Cline, Westfield, Micah (Amanda) Cline, Frankfort, Daniel Cline, Kirklin and Triscia (Eric) Chapman, Brook; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gerald W. (Petronel) Shuck, Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and her husband, Wilma Jean (Cleon) Hubbartt; and one step-grandchild, Michael Goens.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Stout and Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Bob Lawson officiating. Due to the construction on Ind. 26, enter the funeral home from College Street, which is one street north of Ind. 26. Burial will be in Kempton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
