WATERVILLE- Alva Louise Pomerleau, 95,died early Tuesday morning, May 10,1994, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Waterville, June 24,1898, the daughter of James and Delina (Loubier) Rancourt.
She was a housewife most of her life and was married to Charles Pomerleau Sr. who died Oct 1 1964.
Survivors include three children, Annette Pomerleau and Robert L Pomerleau of Waterville and Constance A Tardiff: one sister, Irma Lightbody of Waterville; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
There will be no piblic visiting hours.
Cremation will take place at the Mt. Hope Crematory in Bangor.
Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Waterville.
A memorial Mass will be said at a later date at the Mt. Joseph Nursing Home.
Arrangements are though the Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Mt. St. Joseph Building Fund, High St. Waterville, Maine 04901.
