Laura's parents are EITHER James Andrew McGee and a wife previous to Luella (Moore) OR her parents are Luella (Moore) and a previous husband, possibly a brother to Andrew McGee.


She married Daniel Sidney Kirby on 30 Sep 1916 in Colbert Co., AL. No known children.

She married Dorsey M Rowland (usu. spelled Roland) and they adopted a baby girl, Hallie Mae who married James Willis.


----------------OBITUARY---------------

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Bell Rowland, 1211 West 11 St., Sheffield, were this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the First Pentacostal Church of Sheffield. Rev. L H Benson, pastor, officiated and burial was in Sheffield's Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Rowland died Monday morning at Colbert County Hospital after an illness of two years.

Active bearers will be Louis Nichols, Raymond Brook, Leonard Puckett, Curtis Smith, L L Harrison, and Roy Wilson.

She is survived by a daughter, J T Willis, Sheffield; two sisters, Mrs. J E McGuire, Sheffield, Mrs Irvin Odell, Town Creek; three brothers, Emory McGee, Cincinnati, Ohio; Emmett McGee, Town Creek; and Leon McGee, Decatur; two grandsons, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were by Brown-Service of Tuscumbia.
