BAILEY Memorial services for Michael Ray Bailey, 53, of Harrah, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond. Mike Bailey was born July 14, 1950, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He passed away Sunday, September 14, 2003, in Harrah, Oklahoma. He graduated from John Marshall High School and upon graduation he joined the Navy where he served on the USS Kittyhawk during the Vietnam Era for 4 years where he was awarded numerous awards. He was employed at Tinker Air Force Base for over 15 years and also ran his own roofing company. He was married to Carol Anne for 17 years and had one son, Shane. He was Scoutmaster for Troop 102 in Harrah, Oklahoma. His favorite pastimes were spending time camping with his family, riding his horses or taking trips on his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, his parents, Dean and Audrey Bailey, brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Belinda Bailey, and a nephew, Jeremy Wagoner. He is survived by his son, Shane of Norman; a sister and brother-in-law, Rochelle and Joe Wagoner of Edmond; a nephew and niece, Nathan and Rebecca Kirk; two great nephews, Nathan Jr. and Nicholas Kirk, and a great niece, Raven, all of Oklahoma City; and numerous close family friends. All who truly knew him will miss him. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home.
