Orial was married in 1939 to artist Leslie Kouba.

Mother of two daughters: Bonnie Mae Gavin and Pamela Sue Kausel.

Grandmother of seven grandchildren.

Kouba, Orial Anna Rose, age 84, of Mpls, formerly of Gibbon, MN. passed away Oct. 7, 1996.

Preceded in death by infant daughter Kay Ann; sister Mavis Herschman and brother Lloyd Thiem. Survived by her loving husband of 57 yrs., Leslie C.

She was a devoted wife and supportive of Les's successful wildlife art career. Daughters Bonnie Gavin of Bloomington, Pamela Kausel and husband John of Burnsville. 7 grandchildren Teresa, Deborah, Mark, Jennifer, Kimberly, Daniel and Michael. 6 great grandchildren.

Brothers Alton and Calvin Thiem and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service 10:30 am, at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 525 Knox Ave S, Mpls.

Private Interment Lakewood Cemetery.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Mt. Olivet Rolling Acres-a facility for the developmentally disabled, 7200 Rolling Acres Rd, P.O. Box 220, Victoria, MN 55386. Washburn McGreavy Edina Chapel 920-3996
