Kristie Lyn Brunker, 51, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 surrounded by her family.

Kris was born January 12, 1957 in Topeka, Kansas. She was a faithful Christian woman who glorified God through teaching preschool, teaching Sunday school, and being a stay at home mom. She graduated from Seaman High School in 1975 and obtained an Associate Degree from Kansas State University in 1978.

Survivors include her husband Joe of Olathe, KS; daughters Julie Hellstern (Jonathan) and Stephanie Franz ((Jeremy) of Gardner, KS; parents Duane and Mary Hudson of Topeka, KS; brother Kevin Hudson (Lynette) of Topeka, KS; nephew Andrew Hudson and niece Leah Hudson of Topeka, KS.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Monday, June 23 at D.W. Newcomer�s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. A Celebration of Kristie�s life will be 10 AM, Tuesday, June 24 at Heritage United Methodist Church, 12850 Quivira Road, Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Heritage United Methodist Church Preschool.
