Mrs. Marie Ball Nippert, 89, of Clovis, a housewife, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Clovis.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1913, in Collingsworth County, Texas, to Ernest E. and Nannie Riley Peacock.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Vernie D. Ball and Leo Nippert; a son, Don Ball; two brothers; and six sisters.
She is survived by a son, Lee Ball (and wife, Margie) of Terlingua, Texas; two sisters, Lucy Peacock of Las Vegas, N.M., and Leona Leigon of Plainview, Texas; a brother, Noel E. Peacock of California; four grandchildren, Lena Clem of Tucumcari, Ted Ball of Arkansas and Jim Ball and Leanna C. Ball, both of Clovis; and nine great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Dr. Joseph Vest will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
