FRANK NELSON
Frank Nelson, 87, of Vilas died Tuesday evening at Neosho Memorial Hospital following a brief illness, a resident of Vilas since 1907; he was the custodian of Vilas High School many years.
Born Sept. 18, 1880 at Woodhull, Ill, he married Hanna Bodin. She died May 2, 1920.
Nelson was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church at Vilas.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Walford Nelson, Escanaba, Mich., one sister, Mrs. John Peterson of 302 S. Denman; four brothers Henry, Walter and Everett, all of R. 1, and Rudolph of R. 2.
The memorial service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Vilas Bethel Lutheran Church. Dr. Walford Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Vilas Cemetery.
Johnson Mortuary is in charge.
