FAIRFIELD, Ill. - Ralph Watson, 79, died Sunday night at his home.
He was a retired oil field worker and a member of Fairfield First Assembly of God. He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; three daughters, Helen Phillips and Shirley Ward, both of Flora, and Connie Kunce of Fairfield; a son, Robert of Mount Erie; two sisters, Helen Krocker of Ottawa and Arta Kralj of Streator; a brother, Jothan of Wyoming; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nale's Funeral Home Fairfield Chapel, with burial at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Springhill Cemetery in Beecher City.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Beecher City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
