Waterville, Maine- Evelyn Pomerleau 69, 20 Summer St., was found dead yesterday at home.She was born April 7, 1920, in Frenchville, the daughter of Marcel and Edith Morin.
She had been a lifelong resident of Waterville. She was well known in CB Circles on Channel 13 as the "Bionic Woman".
She also owned and operated Pomerleau's Market with her late husband Charles Pomerleau who died in 1982.
Survivors include one son Jon Pomerleau, of Mercer , Maine; two daughter, Jean(Drown) Fairfield, Peggy Hamilton of Skowhegan; two sisters Alice Philbrick, Waterville, Martha Chase, Fairfield; 11 grandchildren; Two great grandchildren.
At the family request there are no visiting hours or services at this time. Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were made by the Veilleux Funeral Home.
