Lorene was born in Merriam, Kansas to Lulu B. and Arthur P. Ablard on April 17, 1914.

She graduated from Shawnee Mission Rural High School, attended Emporia State Teachers College and graduated from UMKC. She taught school in Shawnee Mission and Turner Unified School districts, retiring in 1975. Lorene was a member of Bristol Hill United Methodist Church.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tilmon C. Cameron, infant daughter, Joyce Eileen Cameron and brother, Forrest A. Ablard.

She is survived by daughters, Jean E. (Jim) Williams and Janelle L. (Stephen Palmer) Henderson; grandson, Andrew S. (Judy) Williams; great granddaughter, Lauryn E. Williams, and nephews, Thomas A. Ablard, Charles C. Page and Alfred G. Cameron.

Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 p.m.

Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m.
