She was a native of Currituck County, N.C., and lived at the beach 48 years. She was a daughter of Little James and Mrs. L. Betty Waterfield Henley.
Besides her husband, surviving are one daughter, Miss Celia (Teny) Saunders of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Mrs. J.N. Osborne of Largo, Fla. and Mrs. Alma O'Neal and Mrs. Caddye H. Walker of Virginia Beach; and three brothers, Alton Hope Henley, John Wray Henley and Orville James Henley of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at a time to be announced.
