Wayne Edward Bristow, 90, formerly of Overland Park, KS, and 40 year resident of Johnson County, died Monday, October 31, 2005, at home in Ozark, MO. He was born July 12, 1915, in Kansas City, KS, the son of Edward and Edith Bristow. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Bristow retired after 40 years with Manor Baking Company. He moved to Ozark to live with his sister 1 1/2 years ago. Survivors include his sister, Lois Gieck and husband, Joe, Ozark; two nieces, Jo G. Long and Candy Valdivia; a great-niece; three great-nephews; and a great-great-nephew. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark; with inurnment at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.
