Services for John F. Kendall, former Brooklyn builder and real estate broker, who died Wednesday at his home, 490 Beverly Road, Teaneck, N.J., will be held at 8 tonight at the Fairchild Chapel, 86 Lefferts Place. The Rev. Irvin Thursby of Connecticut will officiate.
Born 78 years ago in Brooklyn, Mr. Kendall, who went into the building business many years ago was one of the pioneer developers of Kew Gardens and before World War I built many dwellings in Brooklyn, Queens and other parts of Long Island. He then became a real estate broker and for 12 years was residential manager at the Cord Meyer development, Bayside Gables.
Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Josephine M. Kendall.
