LORENE BILLINGSBettes Chapel was to be the scene of funeral services at 3 p.m. Tuesday for Lorene Billings, who died Sunday in a Tishomingo hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Billings, who resided at Route One, Ardmore, was born October 26, 1913 at Antlers and lived in the Dickson community most of her life. She was married to Dee Billings on July 11, 1931 at Ardmore.She was a member of Dickson Baptist Church and the Dickson Home Demonstration Club.The Rev. C. A. Lamb, Dickson Baptist church was to officiate assisted by the Rev. Dalton L. Young of Santo, Texas.Bearers were to be Junior Sampley, Red Smith, Frank King, Huss Standifer, Hoyt Page and Dub Jordan.Interment was to be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. C. E. Petty, Francis, Oklahoma, Mrs. Marlin P. Campbell, Irving, Texas, Mrs E H Kendall Jr., Irving, Texas and Miss Susan Kay Billings of the home; one son, Airman 1/c Carol Dean Billings, brothers, Clint Carroll of Baum, and Frank Roundtree of Gene Autry.Also, two sisters, Mrs. A F Barnes, Mannsville and Mrs. C. A. Anderson, Tishomingo, and eight grandchildren.
