Aulton Ward, 79, died Monday, September 5, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

He was born October 12, 1931, in Prentiss County to David Elisha Ward and Ever Barnes Ward.

He was an Auto Body Repairman; and he was a Baptist.
He enjoyed Gardening.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church near Baldwyn with Bro. Johnny Wayne Bridges officiating.
Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.
Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by a Daughter, Melody Copeland and Husband, William, of Booneville; a Son, Kenny Ward of Baldwyn; four Step Sons, Randy Potts and Wife, Sheila; Donny Potts; Ellis Aldridge and Bo Ward; all of Baldwyn; six Step Daughters, Evie Lou Mackin of TN; Janice Stroupe and Husband, Darvis; Gail Mask and Husband, Bill; all of Ripley,; Bernice Fugitt and Husband, Ruble, of Thrasher; Nina Owens and Husband, James; and Phylis Peters and Husband, Kenny; all of Baldwyn; two Sisters, Novalee Holland of Baldwyn and Patricia Poteet of New Albany; and a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Shelia Ward, on December 13, 2006; two Brothers, Leroy Ward and James Ward; and a Step Son, Truman Aldridge.

His Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the Church.
