Mr. Willis was a native and lifelong resident of Colbert county, member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was employed as an engineer for Southern Railway before retiring in 1976.
He is survived by his wife, Della Willis, Tuscumbia; his son, Tommy L. Willis, Florence; daughters, Judith Hinton, Sheffield, Brenda Metzger, Sheffield; 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home in Sheffield.
Pallbearers will be Terry Willis, Dale Hinton, Paul Metzger, Bobby Stutts, Myron Underwood, and Marty Passarella.
