Mrs. Eileen Groves of Jackson, died at 8:30 a.m. today, Aug. 7, 1085, in St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeay, where she was admitted a short time before. She was 70 years old.
Mrs. Groves, the former Miss McLain, was born June 2, 1915, at Neelys Landing, a daughter of Ivy and Lillie Statler McLain. On Nov. 5, 1930, she was married to Webster Groves, who died on June 13, 1966.
Mrs. Groves moved to Jackson, in 1977, from Cape Girardeau. She attended the Fairview United Methodist Church near Millersville.
