She was the longtime manager of the employees' restaurant at the former Fisk Tire Co. of Chicopee (later Uniroyal Tire Co.). She was previously the restaurant manager at the former Old Tavern in Holyoke, and worked at the former Roger Smith Hotel in Holoyoke.
She retired in 1952.
Born in Holyoke, she lived in Fairview, Chicopee, for 85 years before moving here in 1976.
She was awarded the Boston Post gold-headed cane by the Women's Club in 1985. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Her husband, Irving Royston, died in 1975.
She leaves nephews and nieces, including Roger E. Delisle of Chicopee, and Dorothy I. Plante of Granby; grandnephews and grandnieces, and great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces.
The funeral will be on Friday morning at Phaneuf-Blais Fairview Funeral Chapels and the church, with the burial in Village Cemetery at South Hadley.
