Mr. Polyak Sr. was born in Hungary.

His son, Stephen Polyak Jr. arrived in America in 1905 and the following year his father arrived in 1906.

They made their home in New Jersey where Stephen Jr. married. The family arrived in the Budapest community in 1909 and after Stephen Sr. passed away in 1923 the family returned back north to New Jersey.
