Helen S. DeJesus, 69, of Reading, passed away September 5, 2011 at her residence.
She was born December 6, 1941 in Reading, the daughter of the late Herbert Hiester and Anna (Young ) Hiester.
She was employed as a production supervisor at Grafika Printing for over 30 years, retiring in 2010.
She is survived by her life companion of 30 years, Jose Colon.
She is also survived by her husband, Javier DeJesus.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Catherine Bohn, and is survived by her son-in-law, Richard Bohn, and their two children, Michael and Richard; her son, Robert and his wife, Brenda DeJesus, and their children: Robert, Dennis and Teresa; her daughter, Kim DeJesus, and her children, Antonini Ortega, Javier Ortega and daughters, Natilda and Destiny; her son, Perry DeJesus and his wife, Judy, and their children: Perry, Ellegra, Annamaria, Kristina and Nina, and predeceased daughter, Jackie; her daughter, Cindy and Andrew Santos, and their children: Robert, Jason, Andrew II and Tiffany and Mercedes; her son, Scott and Loreen DeJesus, and their children: Scott Jr. and Lynesa and LaToya; and her son, Javier DeJesus and his wife, Christine, and their children: Josh, Evan, Amber and Emily.
Helen has 39 surviving great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings: Marion, Virginia, Joyce, Raymond and Adam. She was predeceased by 8 siblings.
Friends and family will be received at the Auman Funeral Home, Reading, on Friday from 11- 1 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1 PM. Interment will be in the Charles Evans Cemetery.
