Marty Jay Loy, 39, of Watson went to be with the Lord at 7:54 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, with the Rev. Don Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Dieterich Cemetery, Dieterich. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Marty was born June 24, 1970, in Centralia, the son of Clifford and Rita (Kissinger) Loy of Watson, where he spent the majority of his life. He was a construction laborer and was affiliated with Effingham Assembly of God, Effingham. Marty was a loving father and is survived by his sons, Jovan DeSantos and Alec Loy; daughters, Alysha Loy, Brianna Loy, both of Effingham and Catie Chastain of Lewistown. Marty also leaves behind his parents, Clifford and Rita Loy of Watson; sisters, Lisa (husband, Michael) Wilson of St. Louis, Brenda (husband, Terry) Coleman of Watson; brother, Donnie (wife, Laura) Dill of Dieterich; fiancé, Tonya French Hodgkin and children, Zac, Natasha and Wyatt Hodgkin, all of Mason; three nieces and four nephews. Marty will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
