General Wallace Mann, 78, Leighton, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 1996, of an extended illness. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with burial in Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg.
Officiating at the funeral will be Bro. Todd Clippard.
He is survived by his son, Lyle Grant Mann, Tuscaloosa; daughters, Gayle Mann Lowery, Rita Mann Underwood, Leighton; sisters, Leota Mann Sparks, Nacogdoches, Texas, Travie Mann Burleson, Dextewr, Mo., Peggy Mann Burleson, Haleyville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Mann.
Pallbearers will include Mark Underwood, Myron Underwood, Shey Underwood, Jeff Craft, Mark McCaghren, Doris Mann.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Honorary pallbearers include Lee Hamm, Vine Hamm, James M. Underwood, Dr. James D. Ashmore, Earl Hughes, J.J. Booster Johnson
